Egypt’s Minister of Housing Moustafa Madbouly has inspected Saturday the implementation of a new fully-fledged residential project, including around 8,460 housing units in El-Salam City, northeast of Cairo.
The ministry is set to allocate a part of these units for slum-dwellers over 150 feddans, while the remaining homes will be allocated for investment. The county’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) owns the land plot.
El-Salam City was established in 1977 by Egyptian Former President Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat.
