Egypt’s Ministry to reveal details of Real Estate regulations at tomorrow’s Cityscape

Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development is preparing to reveal previously unseen details of Egypt’s new real estate regulations at tomorrow’s Cityscape Egypt Real Estate Summit in Cairo.
The 400 strong networking event hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel at Nile Plaza is attracting local and international stakeholders who are keen to receive first-hand updates on the government’s vision for real estate in Egypt.

Esteemed Minister Mostafa Madbouly has revealed that the high profile Summit will be his platform for announcing the issuance of the new real estate regulations following review and amendment by the Ministry of Investment.

“We have consulted a number of investors and put their input into consideration. We will sign an MOU with the Ministry of Investment to apply the one stop shop system in New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA)” he stated.

The Minister of Housing will be joined by Ashraf Salman, Minister of Investment and Dr. Khaled Hanafy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, plus more than fifty expert speakers from Egypt and abroad. The Egypt Real Estate Summit will end at 1pm on Wednesday, just prior to the opening of Cityscape Egypt Exhibition which will run from 16-19 September at the Cairo International Convention Centre.
