Egypt’s leading construction firm, Mokhtar Ibrahim, is currently developing 500 feddans of New Alamein City with total investments of 400 million Egyptian pounds ($45 million), its managing director said on Saturday.
Earlier this year, Egypt Cabinet has approved to assign Arab Contractors and Mokhtar Ibrahim to carry out part of the first phase’s infra-structure of New Alamein on an area of 2000 feddans.
While, Mokhtar Ibrahimb is set to carry out water, sanitation, roads, irrigation, electricity, and utilities works in the first district A and D with total area of 283.6 feddans and 250 feddans respectively.
In 2014, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has declared the creation of three new governorates – Central Sinai, Al-Alamein and Al-Wahat. The move, which will bring the number of governorates to 28, is designed to bolster development efforts.
