Egypt’s MSMEDA funds 76k projects in Aswan since ’14
The Egyptian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has successfully financed over 76,000 projects since 2014 in Aswan, with a total of 1,610.7 million Egyptian pounds.
This initiative has created over 102,000 job opportunities for the residents of Aswan according to MSMEDA’s CEO, Basel Rahmi as reported by the Egyptian Cabinet on Sunday.
Rahmi highlighted the agency’s participation in the presidential initiative, Hayah Kareema. The initiative has seen an investment of 244.9 million pounds in the governorate, benefiting 9.4 thousand small and micro projects. This has resulted in the creation of approximately 14.5 thousand job opportunities across more than a hundred villages in the Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Nasr Nuba centres, he added.
MSMEDA’s efforts align with the broader national goal of economic development and job creation, contributing to a brighter future for the residents of Aswan.
