Egypt’s NBE announces profit of EGP 46.3 bln in H1 of 2023

State-run National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has achieved profit of 46.340 billion Egyptian pounds in the first half (H1) of 2023, up from 30.278 billion pounds in the period of 2022, Amwal Al Ghad Arabic reported on Wednesday.

The bank reached a net profit of 24.744 billion pounds in the first half of 2023, compared to 14.103 billion pounds during the same period in 2022, according to the bank’s financial statement.

The financial statement revealed that the bank’s net income from the return recorded 78.363 billion pounds by the end of June 2023, compared to 45.883 billion pounds in the same period of 2022.
