Egypt’s non-petroleum exports to Germany reached 1.127 billion euros last year for the first time in its history, compared to 841 million euros in 2021, according to the Abdelaziz Al Sharif Director of the Commercial Office.
Egypt’s total exports to the German market in 2022 amounted to about 1.2 billion euros, Al Sharif stressing that there are more opportunities to push Egyptian exports to achieve higher levels than they are now.
The North African country’s exports of food industries to Germany rose last year to 86.5 million euros, compared to 76 million euros in 2021, 65 million euros in 2020, 57 million euros in 2019, and 53 million euros in 2018.
