Egyptian New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has approved the urban design of around 18 services, investment, and urban flagships in 8 new cities, said Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Monday.
“These projects will be established on a total space exceeding 2,375 faddans or 9.97 million square metres,” Madbouly further added.
Waleed Abbas, Assistant to Minister of Housing for NUCA, referred that the 8 new cities are New Cairo, Sixth of October, Hadayek October, Obour, Sheikh Zayed, El Shorouk, New Sohag, and New Assiut.
“These projects will contribute to pump investments in the local market and provide more than 15,000 direct and indirect job opportunities,” Abbas said.
