Egypt’s presidency appoints Basaam Radi as a new spokesperson

The Egyptian presidency declared the appointment of new spokesperson ambassador Basaam Rady on Monday, following the term ending of former spokesperson ambassador Alaa Youssef.

According to the presidency’s official Facebook page, Youssef said in a statement that his service as a spokesperson for the presidency had reached its end and that he would be starting his post as a permanent representative of Egypt in United Nations.

The former spokesperson expressed his gratitude for all the presidency team members, journalists, and media personnel across the Egyptian media.
