Egyptian e-commerce platform, Rabbit and Metro markets company announced last week that they have entered into a strategic partnership across several fronts in the Egyptian market.
The two companies serve over 2 million customers across greater Cairo and beyond, Rabbit will also offer a large selection of Fresh Food Market’s premium range and Metro’s products through its mobile app.
Rabbit’s chief operating officer, Ismail Hafez expressed his delight of the partnership stating that Metro market is “one of the most established players in the brick and mortar grocery and retail sector in Egypt.”
Rabbit was founded in June 2021, launched in November of the same year, and has branded itself as a fast delivery startup, with deliveries being completed in 20 minutes, and offers a wide set of various products.
