Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi discussed the latest regional developments with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Minister of Defence Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Cairo on Wednesday, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement.
Sisi and bin Zayed agreed to continue consultations and coordination between the two countries on regional crises.
The two leaders agreed on the importance of supporting efforts to reach political solutions to different conflicts in the region, stressing the importance of maintaining the sovereignty of the concerned states and the integrity of their territories.
They also discussed the latest developments in the war against terrorism, as well as boosting bilateral relations.
Bin Zayed arrived in Cairo earlier on Wednesday for a two-day visit. Source: Ahram Online
