Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Tanzania on Monday in a four-day tour to African countries including Rwanda, Gabon, and Chad.
The tour comes as part of an initiative to strengthen ties with African countries as part of its foreign policy and keenness to further strengthen Egypt- African relations in all fields, particularly the commercial and economic fields.
Sisi will hold bilateral talks with leaders and officials of the countries to discuss ways to enhance cooperation, how to address the common challenges facing the continent and discuss regional issues of common concern, particularly in regard to security and peace in Africa, taking into account Egypt’s current membership in the UN Security Council and the African Peace and Security Council.
