Egypt’s stock market bounces back, EGX 30 adds 0.35% on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes bounced back on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index surging 0.35 percent to 10,991 points buoyed by local and Arab investors’ buying appetite.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) went up 0.33 percent to 1,997 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.68 percent to 13,042 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 advanced 0.40 percent higher to 2,923 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 gained 0.49 percent up to 2,126 points.

Total market capitalisation has gained 3.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($197.9 million) to close at 630.334 billion pounds on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has approximately reached 4.3 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 368.59 million securities executed 45,184 transactions.
