Egypt’s stock market indices end higher, EGX 30 gains 0.73% on Tuesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index rising 0.73 percent to 10,736 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also added by 1.01 percent to 2,082 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped grew 1.15 percent to 13,072 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 went up 1.09 percent to 3,018 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 advanced 1.61 percent at 2,193 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 3.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($197.1 million) to close at 642.166 billion pounds on Tuesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Tuesday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.9 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 623 million securities executed 42,507 transactions.
