Egypt’s stock market indices end mostly higher, EGX 30 dips 0.08% on Thursday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed almost higher on Thursday, however, the benchmark EGX 30 index dipped 0.08 percent lower to 11,015 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose 0.32 percent higher to 2,088 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped edged 0.10 percent higher to 13,199 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 grew 0.27 percent to 3,038 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 added 0.12 percent up to 2,216 points.

Total market capitalisation has made gains worth 1.2 billion Egyptian pounds ($76.6 million) to close at 642.945 billion pounds on Thursday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Thursday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.6 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 386.8 million securities executed 41,519 transactions.
