Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will head to Germany on Tuesday for a two-day visit to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the German president Joachim Gauck .
On Wednesday, Merkel will host al-Sisi in Berlin, the German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert announced on Friday.
Seibert said that al-Sisi and Merkel will discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as the latest developments in the Middle East.
After the meeting, a press conference will be held then the president will meet the German foreign minister.
El-Sisi is set to meet the German president Joachim Gauck in Bellevue Palace.
Merkel had officially invited El-Sisi to visit Germany in February 2015.
On Tuesday, al-Sisi will witness the signing of four agreements in power field with German Siemens to provide Egypt with 10.000 Megawatts (MW) in the presence of Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour – Egyptian Minister of Industry- and Naglaa Al Ahwany – Minister of International Cooperation.
