The current production of the Emirati oil and gas firm Dana Gas in Egypt is estimated at around 36,550 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOE).
In its report about business results during second quarter and first half of 2016, the company stated that the production rose by 11 percent in comparison to 33,000BOE daily in first quarter of 2016, and by 4 percent in comparison to the second quarter of the same year.
The company stated that it finished installing pipeline in Egypt with length of 17 kilo metres in Nile Delta to link Balsam field with a gas processing factory three months before the scheduled date. Thus, the production volume increased by 4,000 BOE per day.
Dana Gas-Egypt is currently taking more steps to remove all obstacles to boost its production in order to hike daily capacity to around 13,000 BOE from Nile Delta during by the first quarter of 2017.
The company noted out that raising Balsam field capacity comes among firm’s agreement with the Egyptian government that targets hiking the capacity gradually over three years. The agreement was signed in August 2014.
