The 9th Annual Conference “Towards Sustainable Competitiveness: Restructuring Institutions in Egypt Invitation will launch on Sunday with the participation of 5 ministries including Dr. Ashraf Al-Araby Egyptian Planning Minister, Dr. Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour Industry and Trade Minister ,Dr. Ahmed Galal Finance Minister, Eng. Sherif Ismail Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister, in addition to Osama Salah the Investment Minister.
Many businessmen such as Hisham El-Khazindar, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Citadel Capital, CEO of Amer Group, Mansour Amer and Eng. Hisham Shoukry- Executive President and CEO of Rooya Group will take part in the conference which organized by The Egyptian National Competitiveness Council (ENCC) an independent policy advisory body established through the efforts of several Egyptian businessmen, academia, and many partner organizations. It is the first non-governmental organization (NGO) to focus primarily on the issue of competitiveness in Egypt and the Middle East. ENCC issued its first report in the summer of 2004. It became registered as a NGO on January 9, 2005 under Law No. 84/2002. Since its establishment, ENCC has addressed the issues of inclusive and balanced growth, social justice and equal opportunities, especially in the sixth and seventh report.
The conference will review the efforts exhausted to put unified vision for the economic growth ,urban planning and social justice as well as the institutional reforms which should accompany such a change, and their impact on the sustainability of energy.
It is schedule that the Editor in Chief of Amwal Al Ghad Magazine Dina Abdel-Fattah will take over the responsibility of managing the conference sessions.
