Etisalat Egypt Wins Bid of 5th Area Broadband Strategy Project

Egyptian Information and Communication Technology Minister Atef Helmy revealed that Etisalat Egypt won the bid of fifth  or the last area of ‘ADSL’ broadband strategy project which will be financed by National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) to cover around 1600 Governmental entities with Internet across republic.

In statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Helmy explained that the win of bid ruled out TE Data’s monopoly charge after winning the first four covered areas within the bid.
