The total investments of Etisalat Misr, the Egyptian unit of the UAE’s Etisalat, has registered over 44 billion Egyptian pounds ($2.48 billion) in the last 10 years.
Etisalat Misr exerts more efforts to cover the major projects executed by the Egyptian government, especially the New Administrative Capital, the company’s CEO Hazem Metwally said.
The Egypt-based telecom firm has raised its paid-up capital in the Egyptian market to 19.43 billion pounds.
Etisalat Misr is planning to pump around 2.5 billion pounds in 2018 to develop its infrastructure and improve its 4G network service.
