EU employment rate hits 75.9% in Q3
The European Union’s (EU) employment rate for individuals aged 20-64 reached 75.9 per cent in the third quarter of 2024, marking a 0.1 percentage point increase compared to the previous quarter, Eurostat reported on Friday.
Labour market slack, which includes unemployed individuals and those with unmet employment needs, decreased slightly to 10.9 per cent of the extended labour force aged 20-64 in the third quarter of 2024.
