European markets briefing 19/04/2023

European markets closed mixed on Wednesday. France’s and Germany’s main indexes closed low, while London’s index closed high.

London’s FTSE 100 increased by 0.05 percent, gaining 3.84 points and closing at 7,902.61.

The German DAX fell by 0.62. The index dropped to 15,795.97   after losing 99.23 points.

The French main index, CAC 40 also went down, losing 10.73 points. Decreasing by 0.14 percent, CAC 40 closed at 7,538.71.
