Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg warned President Donald Trump at a White House dinner last October that Chinese tech firm such as TikTok may imperil the U.S. business, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
He has reportedly argued that clamping down on these firms should be more of a priority than reining in Facebook.
The tech mogul is also said to have pointed out that TikTok, which is owned by Beijing-headquartered ByteDance, doesn’t share Facebook’s commitment to freedom of expression.
