Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta announced on Saturday that the first day of the Islamic Eid Al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, will be Tuesday, 21 August.
Eid Al-Adha, also known as the Grand Feast, lasts for four days and is celebrated by Muslims worldwide.
The Eid marks the start of the annual Hajj or the Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
