Five contractors, Chinese CLSD mandated for Egypt new capital’s towers area: source
Egyptian government has reportedly chosen five major construction firms to start talks with Chinese firm CLSD over executing the towers area project in the country’s new capital.
“The five construction companies are Orascom, Samco, Dorra Group, Hassan Allam, and Redcon Construction,” a source in one of these firms told Amwal Al Ghad.
CLSD is responsible for establishing projects in the towers area in the new capital, he said, adding that the area will include 21 towers.
Egyptian Ministry of Housing signed initial agreements with CLSD Company, he said, adding that the ministry planned to mandate the works to state-owned Arab Contractors in partnership with the Chinese CLSD.
