A few weeks and the winter will start its days and our skin and hair will be prune to be dry and dull. Here, we present you five home remedies to fight dull and dry skins, according to the international Beauty expert Shahnaz Husain:
1- Aloe vera gel and honey face mask
Moisturising should be an important part of your skin care routine, especially during winter. Mix some honey and aloe vera gel and apply it on your face daily for 10 minutes and then wash it off with water.
2- Carrots
This is one of the most simple things you can do for your skin. Grate some carrots and apply them on your face. Wash it after 20 minutes for a soft and supple skin.
Carrots are rich in vitamin A and suit all skin types. They will work the best for your skin, especially during winter.
3- The milk face pack
Mix half teaspoon honey, one teaspoon rose water and one teaspoon dried milk powder. Mix well to make a paste and apply on your face. Let it stay for 20 minutes before washing it off with water. It works well for normal to dry skin. If you have dry skin, you can also use mayonnaise or egg yolk as they help fight dryness.
4- Honey and egg white face mask
Use this face mask for a clean and radiant skin. Mix an egg white with a teaspoon of honey and apply it on the face. Wash it off after 20 minutes. Don’t forget to cleanse your face before you apply this pack.
5- Almond oil face pack
This pack works best for dry skin. Mix half a teaspoon of honey with pure almond oil and one tea spoon dried milk powder. Make a paste and apply on your face. Wash it off half an hour later. After the pack, massage your face with rose water.
