Ganope, GHP discuss production boost at EGYPES ’25

Ashraf Bahaa, chairman of Egypt’s South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope), met with Bashir Saeed, chairman of GHP, during the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2025), according to a Ministry of Petroleum statement released Wednesday.

The two chairmen discussed strategies to increase production in the East Gazorina and East Wayne development areas, as well as solutions to challenges facing both companies. They also explored adding new exploration areas in the West Gebel El-Zeit region to expand drilling and exploration activities.

Bahaa stressed the importance of adhering to stringent occupational safety, health, and environmental standards during drilling operations, the statement added.
