The adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies could generate up to $600 billion in economic benefits for BRICS+ countries by 2030, according to a report by consulting firm Yakov and Partners.
The study highlights that the total economic potential from generative AI implementation in BRICS nations could reach $350-600 billion. Analysts estimate the broader economic impact of AI integration across these economies to be $0.9-1.4 trillion by 2030, representing 20 per cent of the total AI-driven impact.
The report underscores the transformative potential of generative AI in driving innovation and economic growth in the BRICS+ nations, which include Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and their partners.
