Germany’s government-owned KfW Development Bank has secured around €100 million ($106.8 million) for water treatment projects in Gharbia, 90 km north of Cairo.
The project includes the upgrade of several water plants in addition to some waste water projects for 25 neediest villages in the governorate, said Yasser El-Shahawy – an official in the state-run Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) – on Friday.
