German global market leader in logistics industry DHL Express targets doubling its investments in Egypt to one billion Egyptian pounds (US$112.6 million) within the upcoming period.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Wednesday, CEO of DHL Express Middle East and North Africa, Nour Suliman stated that the company is set to pump those investments in building two new branches in Cairo Airport City.
Suliman added that DHL pumped investments of 500 million pounds into the Egyptian market since 2014 until now. Additionally, it aims at injecting new investments before the end of 2016 among its strategy to expand locally.
The official clarified that most of those investments have been injected into Cairo and Alexandria governorates by establishing new offices in addition to developing infrastructure of logistics services in airports with which it deal notably Cairo and Borg El Arab airports.
