German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has expressed his conviction on Saturday that 80 percent of Germany’s electricity will come from renewable energy sources by 2030, this came during an employee event of the energy company RWE.
He pointed to the recent sharp rise in the number of authorisations for solar and wind plants. “Now we have to make sure that they are not only authorized quickly but also built quickly.”
It is worth mentioning that the RWE AG is a German multinational energy company headquartered in Essen. It generates and trades electricity in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States.
