Global coronavirus cases have surpassed 3 million, with more than 210,800 people died from the virus as of Monday, according to data by Johns Hopkins University.
Hopkins’ data showed that the U.S. has more than 987,000 confirmed cases of the virus and a death toll of more than 56,000. Spain has now over 229,400 reported cases while Italy has more than 199,400 cases.
France, Germany, and the United Kingdom each reported more than 158,000 cases, the data added.
