Gold prices down on Wednesday

Gold prices dropped in early trading at 6:45 GMT on Wednesday. Spot gold prices fell by 0.05 per cent to $2,631.06 per ounce, compared to Tuesday’s closing price of $2,632.27.

Meanwhile, US gold futures gained 0.13 per cent to $2,632.27, compared to yesterday’s closing of $2,631.
