Gold prices surge on safe-haven demand
Gold prices surged on Thursday due to safe-haven demand.
Spot gold prices rose at 6:54 GMT by 0.73 per cent to $2,735.35 per ounce, compared to the previous closing price of $2,715.52.
While, US gold futures increased 0.66 per cent to $2,747.45, compared to Wednesday’s closing of $2,729.4.
