The Nissan Motor Global Company has selected Egypt branch to be the regional headquarters in the Middle East, said Hatem Saleh, Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade. He emphasized that this decision will restore the trust of the foreign investors and the global companies in Egypt’s investment climate, as it is also a testimony for the global companies that are willing to invest in Egypt in order to rapidly inject their investments in the current period.
Saleh has pointed out to the Egyptian government’s readiness to provide the facilities essential for the investors in order to enter the Egyptian market and helping them to construct their new projects that will provide job opportunities.
Nissan Motor Egypt is now looking into the ways of boosting its investments besides injecting new investments in Egypt. Moreover, it is planning to have new expansion to produce cars in order to meet the needs of the Egyptian consumer.
On his part, Kazutaka Nambu, Managing Director and CEO, Nissan Motor Egypt, said Nissan Motor Global Company is willing to ramp up its investments in Egypt, particularly after the increase of its sales in the domestic market. He elaborated that the company’s of selecting Egypt as the regional headquarters in the Middle East proves the importance of Egypt and its possibilities in achieving the company’s future plans in increasing its sales.
