Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib, met with Carol Milan, CEO of Henkel Egypt, to discuss the company’s current operations and future expansion plans in the Egyptian market.
El-Khatib stressed the ministry’s dedication to assisting companies in the Egyptian market, aiding them in overcoming challenges and facilitating their growth.
The ministry aims to enhance the business environment to attract investments, create jobs, and boost Egyptian exports globally, according to the cabinet statement.
He also underscored the government’s continuous effort to enhance export support programmes for the benefit of the Egyptian businesses.
Henkel Egypt expressed its intention to expand its manufacturing operations and increase exports to African and global markets.
The company also outlined plans to enhance its competitiveness by increasing the local component of its production process, aligning with Egypt’s localisation strategy.
