Hisham Ramez To Stay As CBE Governor Till November 2015

The newly-appointed Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Hisham Ramez said he will officially assume his responsibilities on February 3rd, 2013, noting that he will stay in this post for two years only till the expiry of the current term ending on November, 2015.

Ramez added that he did not nominate any banking figures for the chairmanship of National Bank of Egypt (NBE) to replace Tarek Amer who submitted his resignation on January 14th, 2013.
