Yasser ElKady, Minister of communications and information technology has paid a visit to “Heliopolis- West” Post Office— following the opening of H eliopolis Developed Notarization Office —to monitor the progress of work and to check the level of services provided to citizens.
During his inspection tour, ElKady listened to citizens’ complaints and opinions, where a number of citizens called for increasing the number of windows providing services in the office. In this context, ElKady invited senior citizens to participate in the pension home delivery service offered by the Egyptian National Post Organization (ENPO) to the elderly to provide convenience without any additional fees.
ElKady also promised to develop “Heliopolis-West” Post Office and turn it into an integrated postal services center within three months in order to provide all postal, financial and social services to meet the needs of Egyptian citizens in accordance with international standards. He called on the staff to do their utmost to improve the quality of services provided to customers and facilitate matters for citizens through achieving a rapid response to their requirements. He also called for increasing the number of windows in the office till completing the development of the office.
According to the strategic plan implemented by Egypt post, development of work systems is underway in nearly 420 major post offices nationwide, scheduled to be completed within the current year as a first phase, followed by the development and modeling of all post offices in the Republic, amounting to nearly 4000 government and civil post offices.
