IDWBE Eyes SMEs Portfolio Hike to EGP750mn by 2014-End

Industrial Development and Workers Bank of Egypt (IDWBE) eyes recording EGP750 million finance for Small and medium sized projects (SMEs) by the end of the current year through nearly EGP600 million finance, said Chairman El-Sayed El-Kosayer.

In a statements to Amwal Al Ghad, El-Kosayer explained that the bank is one of the banks which will support SMEs within the upcoming period in the light of its ability to provide job opportunities and solve the unemployment with low-cost capital.

The Bank signed cooperation protocol with each of Social Fund for Development (SFD) and Finance Ministry.
