A renowned leader in escorted journeys, Insight Vacations celebrated its return to Egypt in style this January, with a 10-day Wonders of Egypt itinerary that included stops in Giza, Karnak and the Valley of the Kings.
“I had the great privilege of being able to join our guests on the first departure back to Egypt since 2013,” said Insight Vacations’ Global CEO John Boulding. “It was a fantastic experience, from the warm welcome by the locals to the rich history and culture that this iconic destination is renowned for.”
“Insight has been working closely with Egypt for more than 30 years and we are thrilled to be assisting the regrowth of tourism in this vibrant country, supporting airport staff, ship crew, knowledgeable local guides and our expert Tour Directors,” he added.
The Wonders of Egypt tour is one of many escorted trips Insight Vacations offers, which include 113 across Europe, more than any other operator.
Guests embarking on Insight’s recently revealed Egypt tour will not only stay in a signature hotel, the Cairo Marriott, but will also enjoy a four-day luxury cruise along the Nile River from Luxor to Aswan.
Plus, the itineary includes a range of Signature Events aimed at providing guests with a one-of-a-kind look at the history and culture of the destination.
Priced around $2,325 to $2,435 per person, travelers can choose from one of any six available Wonders of Egypt tours from Feb. 11 through April 1.
But travelers can choose from four other Egypt tours offered by Insight Vacations.
Splendours of Egypt, Land of the Prophets (Winter 2015), Egypt and Jordan and Jewels of the Nile, Lake Nasser and Abu Simbel itineraries are also available this year.
