New Giza Project records EGP2 billion Sales in Phase One

New Giza, D.I.C. for Development and Construction achieved EGP 2 billion sales (US$274 million) in the first phase of its 6th October city housing project at end of 2014, an official told Amwal Al Ghad on Wednesday.

According to Omar Bahgat- Executive Director of Development, New Giza realised those sales in the light of delivering 300 units from the first phase of New Giza Housing Project in 6th of October, marking 30 %.

NEWGIZA 6th October City is a comprehensive project perched high above Cairo, with impressive vistas of the Pyramids of Giza and the city beyond, spreads across 1,500 acres (6.3 million square meters) of land with investment volume of EGP 25 billion (US$ 3.4 billion).

Envisioned as the ultimate lifestyle destination, residents are afforded security and convenience as well as comfort and luxury, with ten self-contained neighborhoods (surrounded by 87% open greenery and landscape) providing both a sense of serenity and community.

About NEWGIZA UNIVERSITY (NGU), it would offer a highly rigorous and sophisticated medical education featuring state of the art Health care Sciences and Biomedical Research facilities, and offer innovative academic degrees in the fields of Business, Engineering, Law International Affairs, Humanities and Arts. It will also develop innovative and interdisciplinary degree programs in close collaboration with highly ranked worldwide universities.

Phase one includes the establishment of the following six schools; Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Engineering, Business and Arts & Science.
