Instagram back after global outage

Meta Platform’s Instagram went back up for most user, following the app’s global outage, resolving the hours-long technical issue, said the social media platform in a tweet on Thursday.

53,000 users were unable to access the app during the outage, then after the troubleshooting, the number had fallen to less than 1,000 in the US, then to less than 100 in other countries, Downdetector, an outage tracker, reported.
