Israel threatens to bomb Gaza’s al-Quds hospital
The Palestinian Red Crescent has received on Sunday warnings from Israeli authorities to immediately evacuate al-Quds hospital in Gaza, according to its statement posted on social media platform X.
al-Quds Hospital is treating at least 400 patients, many of whom are in critical condition. There are also 14,000 displaced Palestinians seeking shelter within the premises of al-Quds Hospital, said a spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent.
The spokesperson also emphasised “we are facing a disaster if international organisations do not intervene to halt the plans to bomb al-Quds Hospital.”
The number of Palestinians killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza exceeded 8,000, Gaza Health Ministry stated. A previous toll reported that nearly 20,000 were injured, in addition to at least 1,650 missing people.
