Late on Friday, two rockets were fired into Israel, causing no injuries.
The cross-border violence came as tension remained high in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
The rockets came as Israeli police beefed up their numbers in Jerusalem Friday, barring young men from prayers at the Al-Aqsa mosque site ahead of what Hamas dubbed a “day of rage”. Israeli security forces have clashed with Palestinians over the past week.
