Italian service sector growth slows to 53.7 in July – PMI

The Italian service sector continued to grow for the seventh consecutive month in July, although at a slower pace.

The latest HCOB Italy Services PMI Business Activity Index decreased from 53.7 in June to 51.7 in July.

While businesses reported increased activity and new customer acquisition, the expansion was tempered by challenges such as rising costs and cooling selling price inflation.
