Jordan’s Passenger traffic increased by seven percent during the first half of 2023, reaching 4.58 million passengers, Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Chief Haitham Misto said on Thursday.
The most popular destinations in Queen Alia International Airport were Saudi Arabia with around 700,000 passengers, the United Arab Emirates with 570,000 passengers, and then came Türkiye with 452,000 passengers.
Egypt came in fourth place with around 391,000 passengers, followed by Qatar with around 209,000 passengers, and the U.S. with 208,000 passengers, according to Petra News Agency.
