CIB Egypt bank earns EGP 8bln in Q2

The Commercial International Bank (CIB-Egypt) disclosed on Saturday its profits to reach 7.98 billion Egyptian pounds from April to June, compared with 3.52 billion pounds during the same period a year ago.

This is supported by an increase in interest income from seven billion pounds to 13 billion pounds, according to the financial statements released by the bank.

The bank’s assets rose by the end of June to 796 billion pounds, compared to 635.8 billion pounds by the end of December, indicating a 25 percent rise in the value of assets during the first half of 2023.
