Lack of access to finance accounts for 50% of barriers in Côte d’Ivoire – Minister Touré

Access to affordable finance still remains a major barrier to the launch of development projects in Côte d’Ivoire, said Gaoussou Touré, Minister Governor of Denguélé District, at Builders of Egypt in Cairo on Monday.
Access to finance is crucial for the development of all economies and businesses must be able to access financing sources to start up. However, Touré said the lack of access to finance accounts for 50 percent of these barriers in Côte d’Ivoire.
Côte d’Ivoire is open to all the African companies to open and establish their businesses there, the minister added.
