Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly met on Tuesday with representatives from Mansour Automotive Group to discuss the company’s expansion plans in the country. The Egyptian multinational conglomerate expressed keen interest in expanding its local manufacturing operations, leveraging government incentives to bolster the country’s automotive industry.
Mansour Automotive Group CEO Ankush Arora outlined the company’s strategy to increase production at its existing Egyptian facilities. The focus will be on both meeting domestic demand and significantly growing exports, particularly to the Gulf Arab states and Africa. Arora also highlighted the group’s commitment to producing environmentally-friendly vehicles, including electric models, in line with Egypt’s sustainability goals.
For his part, Minister of Industry Kamel El-Wazir reaffirmed the government’s dedication to industrial localisation and attracting automotive companies. He emphasised the Ministry of Industry’s role in supporting businesses like Mansour Automotive Group in achieving their expansion objectives.
Both parties agreed to further explore Mansour Automotive Group’s proposals and provide the necessary support to facilitate the company’s growth and contribution to Egypt’s automotive sector.
