MicroSoft ‘s Imagine Cup Awards EGP 300.000 For Egyptian Team

MicroSoft institution announced  the names of winners in imagine cup competition for the second year, and Vivid team obtain a granting valued at  $50,000 , after he showed an application running on mobile devices and accessing to record satisfactory for the owners via computing technologies.

And these grants comes among  a programe has launched  by MicroSoft  for three years offers a financial grants amounted at $3,0000 in order to inspire the students whose participate in Imagine Cup competition to develop their technical projects and converted it into a real projects which solve the contemporary social problems. Imagine Cup grant  is considered to be a part from YouthSpark initiative which called by MicroSoft aims to create opportunities for more than 300 million youth over three years.

Moreover, Khaled Abd El Qader the general manager of MicroSoft Egypt said the grant inspire the winners students to develop and convert their projects into applications can be used widely for the benefit of society and students in order to breaking into the buisness on the ground.

The winners of this grant are the owners of projects which reached to the last competition list among competition activities of international Imagine Cup and this is a world wide competition to university students and it aims to develop technology solutions ,provide a clear business plan , and acquire the required experience to change their ideas into actions ready for market.

FurtherMore, the competition grant programe launched to a new outlook through helping the students to change their ideas to the reality and build their business or non profit  which based on these ideas.Also Imagine Cup comes as a part  from YouthSpark which launched by MicroSoft to help the youth in order to obtain the required training  and to obtain jobs.

Nour Al Din Hussien from the winners of Vivid Egyptian team says MicroSoft  grant the students a chance to extend their projects into the market in addition to achieving the target impact from the original idea , which focuses on the benefit from plenty of new mobile phones and through it  the application which we invent can contribute to deal with any sudden health conditions through accessing the medical record of the patient.thus more than 40 teams  from the university students whose participate in Imagine Cup competition had applied for the scholarship this year.
