Eng. Mahmoud Hani, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, has issued a decision that the electronic archive building, which lies next to the post office in the 6th of October city, should be fully delivered within a month, given that this building was destroyed after the 25th of January Revolution and work has been suspended for 8 months.
In a sudden visit to the post office in the 6th of October city, the Minister stressed on the need to finalize transferring the stores designed to act as an archive including material possessions to the postal press in Nasr City until preparing a new place for these stores in the 6th of October City. This is part of a plan that aims at separating the workplace from the archive to protect the confidential data of the customers.
The Minister also checked the work conditions at the post office, advising the staff to work hard in order to classify the Egyptian Post among the leading institutions all over the world.
